We had been dreading yesterday for some time now but as the saying goes, all good things must come to an end eventually. Indeed, it was the first of the month, and so Oh Wonder delivered the twelfth (and final) instalment of their self-titled album, another tenderly constructed ballad called 'Heart Hope'. The duo of Anthony West and Josephine Vander Gucht have truly spoilt us over the last year with their one-a-month policy and now it's over - the album is out Friday - we're already mourning the loss of a routine which provided some spectacularly intimate electronic pop moments. 'Heart Hope' is no different, with its pulsing synths and swooning piano cocooning Ant and Josie's divine-as-ever harmonies. Take solace in the fact that Oh Wonder's journey is only just beginning. - DC
